Everything was simply lovely. Overall had real good stay for a business trip. The room was good sized with a spacious bathroom, we stayed in all day. Loved the comfortable decor! The staff was caring and especially helpful and the owner too. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect and peaceful, next to the braai area. And it was relatively near Luini's Pizzaria, ate there couple of times: )

Historical building (making the bath only bathroom quite acceptable, in keeping with the historical feel). Comfortable beds and good linen. Exceptionally polite and helpful staff. Coffee a good 7 out of 10 (not bad considering the average for all the other (mostly 5 star) places that I stay in is about 5.5 to 6 out of 10)
Obviously, the coffee could be a 8 or 9 out of 10, without too much rearranging. Bearing in mind, that a good cup of coffee in the morning, is the cornerstone to the travelling businessman.

What a gem of a hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who went out of their way to accommodate our late arrival. The attention to detail in this hotel is truly impressive. The original features of the house give it a unique and charming atmosphere that you won't find in other places. And the location on a nice street in Brooklyn is absolutely perfect – quiet and safe, yet close to supermarkets and great restaurants. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that even had a bathtub. The basic amenities provided, such as the branded bottled water and plunger coffee, were a nice touch. And let's not forget about breakfast – it was simply delicious!
No complaints, everything was just perfect.

The historic house we stayed in was beautiful and had a rustic charm. the garden was well maintained and the pool was clean. the bedding and pillows were really comfortable, and they provided branded bottled water in the room. the location was great, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
The noise level was high due to the late arrival of some guests who couldn't get in. There was only a limited selection of TV channels, and the Wi-Fi didn't work.

The location next to the braai area is perfect for a relaxing evening. You can enjoy the view of the garden while having your dinner. the room is well-furnished with a big TV and a cozy atmosphere. the bathroom is clean and well-maintained. To top it all off, the staff provides excellent service.
The breakfast does not live up to expectations. It is not up to standard and could be a disappointment to many.
